If your debit card is lost or stolen, the Bank of America Zero Liability Policy protects you against fraudulent transactions .
Contact the Debit Card Customer Service Center at 1-866-692-9374 to report your card lost or stolen and to request a replacement card.
If the card has been used, the bank will issue the replacement card in the amount of the remaining balance.
If the post office is unable to deliver a Debit Card, it will be returned to the bank.

An individual in any of those situations would be unemployed through no fault of theirown and might be eligible for UI benefits. However, to qualify for UI, theywould still need to meet all other eligibility requirements. For example, the individual must be able and available for work, and show that they are seeking work from home. Individuals can be considered able and available to work if there is some work that they could perform from home .This individual also must prove that they left their job due to their employer. Debit Card Benefit Payments
If you are eligible for unemployment benefits, it takes at least three weeks to process a claim for benefits and issue payment. We appreciate your patience.
If you choose to receive payments via a debit card, Bank of America will mail you a card once benefit payments are available. Due to the high volume of claims being processed, it may take a few extra days to receive your debit card in the mail.
If you received Unemployment Insurance, Disability Insurance, or Paid Family Leave benefits on a debit card in the last three years, you will receive your benefit payments on that card.
- If your card has been lost or stolen, you must contact Bank of America at 1-866-692-9374 . You do not need to have your old card number or speak to a representative. Choose the lost or stolen option in the automated menu.
- If your card is damaged, you can order a replacement card online by visiting the Bank of America debit card website.

Anyone is unemployed may file a claim for unemployment. Typically, you must meet the following criteria to be eligible.
- You are unemployed through no fault of your own
- You are able and available to seek and accept work
- You earned a minimum of $1,500 from a covered employer during your base period.

It was a familiar sound to many Pennsylvanians who have called for help with unemployment claims during the COVID-19 pandemic a busy signal.
The harsh repeat buzzing was broadcast last week from the phone of state Rep. Natalie Mihalek, R-Allegheny/Washington.
Mihalek called the unemployment compensation call center during a house appropriations committee budget hearing for the state Department of Labor and Industry. The droning sound filled the chamber.
Can you all hear that? Mihalek asked. Im trying to get in touch with somebody at the Department of Labor and Industry. I have been all morning. I have been for 11 months.
During the hearing, Mihalek said her staff recently had three calls from residents who havent gotten unemployment checks in a year.
Rep. Natalie Mihalek live-called the Unemployment Compensation Call Center and received a busy signal to lead off questioning. Watch the exchange:
PA House GOP Approps
Over the last year, more than 30% of eligible claims waited more than two weeks to receive a first payment, compared to 12% the previous year, Spotlight PA reported.
On Wednesday, the Department of Labor and Industry announced it will add at least 500 new customer service representatives to the unemployment compensation call center, up to 1,000 total new staff if needed.
The move will allow existing staff to move to resolving claims full time.

Reliacard Activation Time Limit & Expiration
You must activate your card within 12 months of your first benefit payment, otherwise your payments will return to TWC. We cannot reissue these benefits.
Your ReliaCard is valid for two years, even if you stop receiving unemployment benefits. The expiration date is on the front of your card. Keep your ReliaCard in case you apply for benefits again before it expires. To avoid being charged a monthly inactivity fee, do not keep a balance on your card for more than 12 months without using it.
