What can I do with my online account?
Your online account allows you to submit an application for Unemployment Insurance benefits and certify to receive weekly benefits. You can also view your claim status and account balance, make changes to your direct deposit account, update your address and phone number, and get form 1099-G so you can file your taxes.
What if I forget my PIN to certify for weekly benefits?
You can request a new PIN using our Claim Status application. You will need to have your Claimant Identification No. available. Your Claimant ID can be found on notices you have already received from the Division, including “Unemployment Insurance Instructions & Appointment Notice” or “Unemployment Insurance Appointment Notice
What if I forget my username or password?
Your username is the email address you used to file your claim. If you forgot your password, use the Forgot Password? option on the sign-in page. Instructions on how to reset your password will be sent to the email address we have on file. Keep in mind, you will be asked to answer your security questions exactly how you entered them when creating your account. This means you have to use exact spelling, dashes, and spaces.

Your state is overwhelmed with new jobless benefits applications. The most likely reason why you haven’t yet received your unemployment check is probably also the most frustrating: State unemployment agencies have been inundated with new filings and are hard-pressed to process them in a timely manner.
How Do I Verify My Identity For The Georgia Department Of Labor

If you have been locked out of your My UI portal, you will receive an email from the Georgia Department of Labor directing you to a web address to verify your identity with ID.me.
Once you have navigated to the ID.me verification website, click the green Verify with ID.me button to start the identity verification process. Please continue to follow the instructions until you have verified your identity.
After you have verified your identity, either online or with the help of an ID.me Trusted Referee, you will receive another email from the GDOL within 48 hours that provides specific instructions on how to unlock your account and reset your PIN. You may need to check your spam/junk email folder for this message.

You should be able to locate your ID number in the packet of information you received from the state when it issued you your number. Federal EINs can be found on the computer-generated notice sent by the IRS containing the number. You can also find the number on any state and federal tax returns your company has filed.

What Employers Can Do If You Suspect Id Theft
Employers may receive a Notice of Application for Unemployment Benefits, a Request for Work Separation Information, or other form from TWC requesting information on a claim. If you receive a notice for an employee who is still working, or for a person who never worked for you, please respond to the notice immediately. See Responding to a Notice of Application for more information.
If your employee receives material from TWC for an unemployment claim they did not file, you should advise your employee to report the ID theft claim using TWCs online portal. While either you or your employee may report the suspected ID theft using the portal, we prefer that the information comes directly from the person whose identity was stolen. Temporary Kentucky Unemployment Call Center To Help Claimants Reset Pin Numbers
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – After shutting the Kentucky Office of Unemployment Insurance system down on Thursday, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear announced the system will be back live on Tuesday to help the more than 300,000 people who need their PIN numbers reset.
Gov. Beshear said a call center will be open from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. for the next 10 days.
A valid email is required to verify your identity in the new registration process, Beshear said. Youll also need the new eight-digit PIN. Thats what youll have to create to make the new account. It makes it long enough and too complicated for the cybercriminals to do it.
The governor said the call center is only for PIN resets on Tuesday, and no other unemployment questions will be answered.
Claimants wishing to reset their PIN numbers should call 564-2900.

If you forget your password or User ID, the Logon page has quick links for you to retrieve your User ID or reset your password.
